Cruise Map:

7 nights | Sunday to Sunday | Half board | Kotor to Kotor | 2th May - 3th October | Montenegro coast only
1
Sunday – Kotor - At Dock for Embarkation and first night
Embark in Kotor for the start of your fabulous trip. Kotor has one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in the Adriatic and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a walk up the steep city walls that snake their way over the mountainside for magnificent views of the bay, or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the winding lanes and charming squares that make up the old town.    The Bay of Kotor is dubbed Europe’s southernmost fjord and the setting could not be more magical: a beautiful bay fringed with mountains, yachts bobbing in port, swimmers in the clear blue waters, fine Venetian-era buildings to admire and all around wonderful warm sunshine.
  •         Embarkation from 4pm - in the case of early arrival it is possible to leave your luggage on board and enjoy the walk through the town  / have some refreshments
  • Dinner on board included.
  •         Overnight on-board in the Bay of Kotor.
2
Monday – Approximately 2 hours to cruise from Kotor to Tivat - Porto Montenegro at anchor with tender for the second night
Today we set sail from the Bay of Kotor, making our way at a leisurely pace over to the glamorous Porto Montenegro marina, home to some of the biggest (and most expensive!) yachts in the world. On the way we will stop at the island of Sveti Marko, one of the best spots for swimming. We will moor for the night at the town of Tivat, where you will be free to go explore, or take the short stroll to Porto Montenegro and visit one of the many designer shops or fine dining restaurants that make the marina so special.
  • Overnight on-board in Porto Montenegro
  • Breakfast and Lunch on board included.
3
Tuesday – approx 5 hours to cruise from Tivat to Budva - Budva at anchor with tender for the evening
Your gulet sails away from the Bay of Kotor and out into the Adriatic. The destination is the bustling town of Budva. This popular holiday destination offers a superb selection of beaches and there is plenty to see and do. The pretty old town sits alongside modern development meaning that there is something for everyone here. And – if you’re a night owl – Budva has plenty of bustling bars and clubs to offer.
  • Overnight on-board in Budva.
  •  Breakfast and lunch on board included.
4
Wednesday – approx 2 hours to cruise from Budva to Bar - Bar at dock for the fourth night
As your gulet cruises away from Budva along the Adriatic coastline you will pass by lots of scenic coves and bays, including the famous island resort of Sveti Stefan. Should weather permit, the next stop is the beautiful resort of Ulcinj which is the southernmost town in Montenegro. You can’t help but notice that Ulcinj has a real sense of the east about it, with the handsome minarets of mosques dotted along the landscape. While you’re here, you may want to soak up the sun on the 12km Velika Plaza beach. Back on board, you will cruise northwards to the port of Bar where the gulet will dock for the night. Be sure to take a stroll around this curious old town – occupied since 800BC, the town is full of history and the ruins of civilisations gone by stand alongside sympathetic reconstructions of the past.
  • Overnight on-board in Bar.
  • Breakfast and lunch on board included.
5
Thursday – approx 4 hours to cruise from Bar to Bigova - Bigova at dock or anchor depending on availability of mooring for fifth night
Sailing towards the traditional Montenegrin fishing village of Bigova, we will sail past the fortress island of Mamula. You will also have the chance to take an optional tour and swim in the beautiful cobalt water inside the renowned Blue Caves. (Blue Caves excursion is available for an additional 12 euros). As you relax in the evening in the fabulous waterfront tavern you will be able to watch the sunset over the bay while you decide what to order for your evening meal.
  • Overnight on-board in Bigova.
  • Breakfast and lunch on board included.

Friday – Approx 2 hr cruise from Bigova to Herceg Novi - Herceg Novi at dock for sixth night
Situated at the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, Herceg Novi offers an absolutely wonderful old town – Stari Grad. Bustling coffee shops and lively bars sit amidst the century’s old fortresses and resplendent churches. Wander around the atmospheric streets, up and down the old stone steps and perhaps take the time to plan your evening’s entertainment – there’s plenty on offer on the waterfront promenade! From busy bars to intimate, alfresco dining, there really is something to suit all tastes in this fabulous Montenegrin resort.
  • Overnight on-board in Herceg Novi.
  • Breakfast and lunch on board included.
7
Saturday – Approx. 2 hours to cruise from Herceg Novi to Perast - Perast at dock for seventh night
Your gulet will take you at a leisurely pace around the stunning Bay of Kotor before heading to the final destination of Perast. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this beautiful little waterside village has an almost Venetian feel to it with its beautiful ancient architecture. Lush forests cling to the mountainside and the landscape is dotted with centuries old church spires – 16 in total in this small area! Worth a visit is Our Lady of the Rock – a church built on a manmade island which is home to a fantastic collection of art by the Montenegrin artist Tripo Kokolja.
  • Overnight on-board in Perast.
  • Breakfast and lunch on board included
