Croatia Island Explorer Gulet Cruise
Step aboard the 6 cabin Queen of the Adriatic, generously proportioned traditional gulet sailing boat for a wonderfully relaxing holiday with plenty to see and discover.
This 29-metre long gulet boat is comprised of six cabins a choice of two double, two superior double or two twin cabins, with each room having its own private en-suite with shower. Bed linen, towels and beach towels (all provided within each cabin) are changed midweek to ensure comfort and cleanliness throughout your stay.
Furnished in the typical gulet style of rich mahogany and polished teak wood, this three-sail boat offers a wonderfully comfortable way to see the best of what Croatia has to offer!
The saloon lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind and it also offers the opportunity to meet and chat with other guests. A Wi-Fi connection is available, as well as a television and dvd player in the shared lounge.
The on-board bar serves a range of well-priced drinks and is open until 11 every night. What could be nicer than sitting on the boat’s deck while enjoying your favourite tipple?
The deck is also where the boat’s talented cook will serve your meals. Fresh, varied and flavorsome is the order of the day, and should you have any specific menu requirements we can happily discuss those with you beforehand.
The crew of four are attentive to holidaymakers’ needs at all times and you will find them pleasant, enthusiastic and polite. They will provide you with fishing gear, snorkeling equipment and a canoe to enable you to get the very best out of your time spent at sea (depending of course on weather conditions).

Saturday– Zaton Veli - At dock for embarkation and for first night, dinner included
Our adventure begins in Zaton Veli, which is just 8km from Dubrovnik and an approximate 40minute transfer from Čilipi (Dubrovnik Airport). The gulet crew will welcome you on-board from 5pm, don’t worry if you arrive earlier, you can drop off your bags and get lunch in one of the seafront restaurants in this quaint Dalmatian coastal town, while the crew are preparing the boat. Once you’re onboard the Captain will give you a welcome meeting briefing you on rules and safety on the boat, you’ll then enjoy a meal where you can get to know your fellow passengers. Overnight on-board in Zaton Veli. Light meal upon arrival on-board included.
Sunday – Korcula – At dock – Breakfast and Lunch (Approx 6 hours cruise/sail)
Having enjoyed breakfast on the deck, we’ll set sail for Korcula. En-route hopefully you will have the chance to enjoy a relaxing swim break in the crystal waters of the Adriatic. We will serve lunch along the way so this longer than normal day of cruising is broken with some breaks. Then we’ll arrive at the lush green island of Korcula, famed for its olive groves, vineyards and traditional villages offering the perfect blend of relaxation and sightseeing. This pine-clad island mixes sandy beaches with an intriguing old town, and the locals delight in sharing their traditional customs and folk music performances with tourists to the island. Be sure to sample one of the superb wines produced by the local vineyards. Overnight on-board in Korcula.
Monday– Hvar – At anchor with tender for third night (Approx 4 hours cruise/sail)
Monday– Hvar – At anchor with tender for third night (Approx 4 hours cruise/sail) Setting sail after breakfast, we make our way towards the centre of Hvar. There will be an opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the tempting waters along the way! Hvar Town is a very popular Croatian destination and it is easy to see why. The little stone streets wind their way around Gothic palaces, squares and little terracotta-roofed houses. Visit the Franciscan cathedral to soak up the atmosphere of Hvar in centuries gone by, before taking a walk along the yacht-lined waterfront to enjoy the atmosphere of glitzy, modern day Hvar! The island has plenty to offer when it comes to natural landscape too – think verdant pine forests, fragrant lavender fields and olive groves. Tours are available and are a great way to see more of this beautiful island. This island is famed for its vibrant nightlife – will you party the night away at one of the many clubs or sit under the stars on-board the boat with a glass of something cold? Overnight onboard in Hvar. Breakfast and Lunch on-board included.
Tuesday – Split – At dock for fourth night: (Approx 4 hours cruise/sail)
Tuesday – Split – At dock for fourth night: (Approx 4 hours cruise/sail) We will then cruise to the ancient waterfront town of Split, stopping along the way for anyone who wants to take a dip in the sparkling Adriatic Sea The ancient walled city of Split is an incredible place – history blends seamlessly with modernity here and fashionable bars and clubs sit side by side with Roman ruins. A visit to Split’s most prominent landmark, the UNESCO protected palace of Emperor Diocletian is a must. Cameras at the ready to capture lasting memories of this stunning historic architecture. And what’s more, Split packs a punch when it comes to the landscape too, with dramatic mountains rising from the turquoise waters. Overnight on-board in Split. Breakfast and lunch on-board included.
Wednesday– Lovište, Pelješac – At anchor for fifth night (Approx 5 hours cruise/sail)
We set sail once again after a delicious breakfast. Our next destination is peaceful cove of Lovište on the Pelješac Peninsula. The town of Lovište was created by fishermen and is noted for the production of fig, almonds and farming. This is a place where you will be able to relax and enjoy its beautiful coves and pebble beaches. Lovište has been named by the locals as an ‘oasis of peace’, known for its warm seas and sheltered position and is a real hidden gem of the Dalmatian coast. The restaurants here are famous for fresh food, and it really is a place to enjoy a real farm to table experience. Overnight on-board in Lovište. Breakfast and Lunch on-board included.
Thursday– Pomena, Mljet - At anchor with tender for sixth night (Approx 3 hours cruise/sail)
The island of Mljet is our next stop along the way you will enjoy lunch. The draw dropping beauty of Mljet will set your eyes alight, with its’ beautiful national park easy to reach by renting a bike from the dock where the tender will drop you off. Once you’ve had enough of exploring the natural beauty of this island, you can return to enjoy dinner in the couple of traditional fish restaurants in this small fishing village. If you want a less energetic day, this is a great swimming and sunbathing spot, the waters are known for their rich sea life and you can take one of the snorkelling sets onboard to see the fantastic diversity the sea here has to offer. Overnight on-board in Pomena. Breakfast and Lunch on-board included.
Friday– Dubrovnik (Zaton Veli) – At dock for seventh night (Approx 4 hour cruise/sail)
We will be setting sail early to head back towards Dubrovnik, after breakfast the gulet will cruise back to Zaton Veli, where a transfer will meet you to take you to one of the highlights of this itinerary Dubrovnik old town. Famous as the setting for ‘Kings Landing’ in the TV series Game of Thrones, you could choose to enjoy one of the themed tours, or just stroll around the street enjoying lunch or a coffee in one of the many restaurants or cafes. Dubrovnik is a hive of activity with so much to see, so we’ll make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy it, before collecting you and taking you back to the gulet. Once back the cook will prepare a final meal where you can enjoy the company of the friends you will have made onboard. Overnight on-board in Zaton Veli. Breakfast and Dinner on-board included.
Saturday– Departure, check out time 9am
All good things must come to an end, and we hope you will have made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. However, once you’ve experienced the beauty of Croatia, we hope we will leave you wanting to come back for more. Breakfast on-board is included.
